Here are some things!

First off, check out the 48-hour film me and my buds made! The theme was Cactus. It was quite an adventure to learn all of these programs right away but we made it work. 

Next, some satyrs for character design. I tried to take common tropes with satyrs and put a twist on them...

Since most satyrs are devilish fellas, I designed a sensitive, nice one.

 

Satyrs chase babes, but what if the satyr was the babe being chased? This picture, that's what.

And just for fun, I've been doing some DC fanart.

For character design we had to draw war horses in the style of Chen Yi--character designer for Mulan. So...here they are, from around de world!

the ace of space

So a bunch of classmates and I got together and made a card deck! We each got two hours to make a card, and my card was the ace of spades, so I drew Heather, my adventuring gun-chick.

Apparently wearing the ace of spades on your helmet during war is a sign of good luck, but also a sign of anti-peace keeping or something... you learn somethin' every day!

Camels on Parade

We had to draw some camels for character design this week, and I decided to do them on the computer... Enjoy!

I'd really like to animate the old camel (who may or may not be slightly inspired by Saruman), I feel like I know exactly how he'd walk...

 I love when people match the animals they care for (though I think that camel is sassier than her ladyfriend)

Today is my second day of class, and boy am I busy already... These are some things I did before college and just fixed up a little.

Texture practice! After studying some Eyvind Earle paintings, I did all of the textures by hand. Hand-made detail is my favorite!

I like drawing trees and girls, so why not both?
